20/10/2023 - Product UX Updates

1. Disable Polling / Q&A Pop-up.

  1. Currently, attendees that enter the event landing page using mobile devices will be able to select whether to participate in Q&A / Polling or to Register/Login. There will be no pop-up window the moment attendees enter the event landing page. 



  1. Expected Behavior:
    1. For Poll / Q&A : There will be a pop-up window for attendees to participate in Polling or Q&A once the Poll / Q&A button is clicked.


Note: For the Poll / Q&A button to be present, the features must be toggled on by the organizer on the portal.


    1. For Register / Login : Attendees will be directed to enter their registered email address once the Register / Login button is clicked.



2. Check-in App UX Enhancement

  1. Show Data Sync Progress & All Attendee Filter
    1. When users refresh / enter the Check-in App, there will be an icon on the top left corner of the screen indicating the progress of the data update. Once the data has been updated, the latest updated date and time will be displayed.  




    1. When users enter the Check-in App, there will be a pop-up message to indicate that the data is being downloaded from our server.



    1. If a filter is applied and an attendee cannot be found under the certain filtering criteria, there will be a message that suggests users to search the attendee under the complete attendee list. With this suggestion message, it reduces confusion for users.


  1. Able To Show Updated Printer Status After Ipad Is Locked
    1. There will be a text stating “Connected” next to the printer icon to indicate that the printer has been successfully connected to the iPad/Tablet.


    1. If the user locks and unlocks the iPad/Tablet  screen while the Check-in App is open, the text next to the printer icon will indicate “Printer is paused”. With this real-time status update, users can proceed to refresh the check-in app to allow the printer to re-connect. 
      1. Note: The status will indicate “Loading Printer Status” when the Check-in App is refreshed.
