3/11/2023 - Product UX Updates

  1. The expiry date of the QR Code to access the EventX Check-in App is now extended to 365 days. 

    1. To access the QR Code: Go to "In-person Check-in" > Tutorial > Refer to the QR Code in Step 3
       


  2. The automated reminder email is toggled OFF by default. 

    1. Both 24 Hour and 1 Hour automated reminder emails are independent from a newly created event. This means that organizers will have the option to either send or not send the reminder emails once the event is published. Please refer to our support article here for more information regarding this feature. 



  3. Resend limit for automated email and SMS has been increased to 20 resends. 

    1. Once the organizer selects the attendee and clicks the resend icon, they will be able to resend the automated email and SMS up to 20 times. 



  4. All Hybrid and In-person events will be able to set up the event location under Event Settings. 



  5. Improved video upload experience in China domains. 

    1. Enhanced China accessibility for video content in the Booth Details / Lobby page.

  6. Sender name preview for automated emails. 

    1. For automated email templates, organizers will be able to view the change that has been made to the sender name on the email preview page. 



  7. Registration flow enhancement.

    1. There will be an asterisk mark next to the question field to indicate that it is a mandatory field. 



    2. When the attendee hovers over the "Next" button before all the mandatory fields are filled, there will be a message that informs the attendee to complete all the required fields. 
      Note: This feature needs to be enabled by the Project Manager for the event. 



    3. Updated message once attendee clicks "Email Me a Login Link".
