- We recommend spacing business cards apart when capturing images to avoid issues with the auto image cropping functionality. For best results, place each business card on a clean, uncluttered surface before taking a photo. If two or more cards are positioned too close together in the image, the system may not be able to properly separate and process them independently. Leaving adequate space between cards will allow the image cropping technology to work optimally and extract data from each card. For now, taking the extra step to isolate the cards on a blank background will ensure accurate scanning. We are working to improve the system's ability to handle multiple cards in close proximity. But spacing the cards out when capturing images will prevent errors in the meantime.
