Event Settings - Enable the Interaction Tools

 

The organizer may toggle on/off of the following: Chat function, Q&A, Polling function, 1-on-1 Video call function and meet-up function in In-event interaction control.

You may find the In- event interaction control by clicking Event Settings under Event Setting and go to the General Setting tab

In-event Interaction
You may toggle on/off the function you would like to enable on your event site.

Please remember to click " Save" after making any changes.

 

If you enable all six (Public Chat, Booth Chat Room, Show Q&A, Show Polling, 1-on-1 video call and Meetup), you will see the event page as follows.

 

  • Public Chat function means allowing all participants to chat in the public chat room.

  • Booth Chat Room function means allowing attendees to reach out to the booth exhibitors or representatives in the booth chat room on the booth page

    NOTE: The Global chat and Networking Lounge chat message can accommodate up to 280 characters. When sending a message with more than 280 characters the message 'The message you are trying to send is larger than 280 characters would appear in the chat message.
  • Show Q&A function means the question raised in different webinar sessions will be shown while participants can check by clicking the "Q&A" tab

     

  • Show Polling function means the poll questions and results raised during the webinar session will be shown while participants may check by clicking the "Polling" tab

  • Show 1-on-1 Video Call-Once toggled ON, it allows one-on-one video conferencing between attendees. Press the green button to accept call or, the red button to decline

    • Webinar Details Page

    • Networking Lounge Table

    • Booth Video Table

    • Already on 1-on-1 video with another person

       

Attendees may initiate a video call by searching the participants from People and clicking on the video call icon.

If any of the participants initiate the video call, attendees will be able to see the incoming video call shown below.

The participants will see the message as below if you have already started the video call.

If any of the participants clicked "End" on the top right hand corner of the video call screen, attendees will be able to see the pop-up message "Call has Ended" as below.

If the incoming video call is not picked up by the other side, the participant who initiates the call will be able to see the pop-up message as below.

Video call will be unavailable when the receiver:
1. Is in a webinar session
2. Has joined a networking lounge table
3. Is in a booth video table
4. Already on 1-on-1 video with another person

The attendee will see the missed call notifications at Messages.

An auto-reply message will be sent to the user who failed to call in.

  • Show Meetup means allowing attendees to schedule meetups with each other within the event hosting period.
