EventX WebApp Guideline for Attendees

During in-person events, the WebApp provides participants with an interactive platform to easily connect and collaborate with both the host and each other, allowing them to maximize engagement, exchange ideas in real time, and fully immerse themselves in the experience. The WebApp enables participants to actively participate from their smartphones or devices, while still attending the event in person.

What attendees can do inside WebApp?

Note: The items listed below varies based on the organizer's setting.
  1. View the attendee list and schedule meet-up with each other
  2. Browse exhibitor list/ product list set up by organiser 
  3. Join the polling/ Q&A session
  4. Talk in the public chat/ with specific attendee
  5. Receive notification from event organiser
  6. Review event agenda, speaker and sponsor information

How to enter the WebApp?

  1. Click on the Enter Event button in the Confirmation and Reminder emails to enter the event lobby directly once the event has started. 




  2. By clicking the magic link, the attendee will be directed straight to the event platform if the event has started.
    Note : The first page that you see will depend on the organizer's settings. 



  3. If the event has not started, you will be directed to the event landing page upon clicking the Event Event button on both the Confirmation & Reminder emails.



    Remarks: 
    1. You will be automatically logged into your EventX account once you click on the Enter Event button. if you would like to register again, log out by clicking on the profile icon.
       


    2. If you would like to log into your account after you have logged out, click Login > Enter your invited email address > Click Email Me A Login Link. Registered attendees will receive an email that includes the Login Link.





      Note:
      The login link sent to your email address can only be clicked once. There will be an error message as shown below if you click on the login link again. 



Access different pages on the WebApp

  1. Click the hamburger icon to access the menu bar.
    Note : The first page that you see once you enter the WebApp depends on the organizer's settings.




  2. Select accordingly to view the desired pages


Note: The sessions that happen concurrently will be displayed in a parallel manner. Simply click on the arrow button to view the next concurrent session. 



How to view the session details? 

  1. Click on "View Details" for in-person events to view the session details.


     

How to filter different tracks for webinar sessions?

    1. An event might have tracks created by the organizer, to filter out the tracks that you are interested in viewing, click on “All Tracks” > Select the corresponding location filters and click “Apply”. The WebApp will then show the filtered results.


    How to show sessions from a specific day?

    1. To show sessions from a selected date, click on “Date” > Select the desired date/date range by tapping on the dates within the event period > Click Apply


    1. The calendar will only show the dates that consist of created sessions. The dates will be shown in black and are clickable as shown below. 


    How to save a session? 

    1. To save a session, click on the bookmark icon shown below and the icon will turn green. To unsave a session, simply click the icon again and the color will be reverted to white.


    2. To view the saved sessions, click on "Saved Sessions"

       

    How to know which session is upcoming?

    1. Check the Status tab and make sure it displays “Upcoming Sessions”. To view all past and upcoming sessions, click on the Status tab and click “Reset All”. The Status tab will then indicate “All Sessions”
       

    How to add sessions to my calendar?

    1. Click on the calendar icon and select the corresponding calendar



    Networking lounge

    1. To access the networking lounge, click on "Networking Lounge" on the menu list. If attendees want to network with other attendees regarding a common topic that the organizer has set for the Networking Tables, they can start interacting with them by clicking the Join Discussion button for a specific Networking Table.



    Interact with other attendees

    How to access the people list? 

    1. Attendees can view other attendees who are on the WebApp and chat with them. To do so, click on the "People" icon on the top of your screen. You can see all the registrants on the people list.
      Note : The People List feature can be enabled / disabled by the organizer.



    2. Attendees can then click on the message icon to message another attendee. To search for an attendee, simply key in the attendee name on the search bar. 
      Note : The chat feature can be enabled / disabled by the organizer.



    3. To video call an attendee, simply click on the message icon and click on the video call icon. 
      Note : The video call feature can be enabled / disabled by the organizer.


    How to access the public & private chat room?

    1. Click on the message icon on the top of your screen.


    2. Select between Public and Direct messages accordingly

    View booths and interact with booth exhibitors & representatives

    How to view a booth? 

    1. Click "Exhibition Halls" on the menu list > Click "All Booth Tiers" to filter a specific tier that you would like to view or scroll down to view the booths. 
      Note : The All Booth Tiers button can be enabled/disabled by the organizer. 





    2. Click into the booth to view the booth content and connect with booth exhibitors and representatives.

    How to chat with booth exhibitor and representatives? 

    1. Once you clicked into the booth, click on "Contact Booth Reps" to chat with booth exhibitors / representatives.

       

    2. To have a video chat discussion, you may click on "Join a Table Now".
