Import Attendees with Confirmation Email

When logged in to the Organizer portal. On the event dashboard you will immediately see the Organization attendee quota data. This quota counts registered/attended attendees. This information helps organizers determine how much of the quota is still available or was already used.

 Important Reminder:

  • The quota does not count special roles like host, co-host or speakers
  • If the special role is removed from the participant, they will fall back and become a normal attendee which will be counted from the quota.

The organizer can import the attendee list to the EventX organizer portal and send the confirmation email to imported attendees who confirm to attend the event.

Step 1: Click to "Attendee List" tab and click "Invite Attendees"

Step 2: Select the method of how you would like to invite the attendees.

Note: Selecting "Import attendees directly to the event" can SKIP the registration form but NOT the EventX account sign-up process given that the organizer disabled the magic link login method for the event.

Step 3: You may click "Download CSV Template" if you don't have one yet.

If you already have your own CSV file (attendee list), you may click "Upload CSV file" to select your file.
Please note that your file must:

  • Follow the headers in the template

  • Have maximum total unique attendees: 1,000

  • The file should not exceed 20MB

Step 4: You may select ticket type after uploading the attendee file.
You may select No Ticket Required if you do not have any ticketing.


Please note that if the "Send Confirmation Email & SMS" is on, a confirmation email and SMS message will be sent automatically to your attendees after you finish importing the attendee list.
Remember to click " Import Attendee List" when you finish all the steps.
