O2O (Online to Offline) Interaction

O2O(Online to Offline) interaction allows offline event attendees to join online polling event by scanning the QR code or clicking on the specific activity link.

Organizers can get the QR code/ event link/ save it as a PDF as a poster for invitation to online event activities.

How get O2O interaction QR Code

Step 1: Make sure Show Q&A and Show Polling is toggled on under Event Settings > General Settings.




Step 2Go to the O2O interaction and choose the Online Share tab. You may get the QR code or online polling event link.

The online polling event link can be shared on social media platforms (eg. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.) or any communication channels (eg. Email, WhatsApp, Wechat, QQ, etc.) for more exposure and to attract the attendees to join the event activity.

Step 3: You may share and invite the attendees to join online polling event by:

  • Simply downloading the QR code by right-clicking onto the image and click save image as... then you may send it to anyone that you would like to invite or print it for your promotional materials.


  • Copy the event activity link and send to anyone that you would like to invite 


  • Click on the social media logos, it will be directed to the sharing page of the related platforms.


  • You may also make a poster including the activity QR code, your event logo and a banner. Choose the QR Code Poster tab.
    Reminder: You have to upload the event logo and event banner to the Event Setting page first if you would need to make the poster
    .
  • Once the event logo and banner are uploaded, you may preview the content of the poster on this page.
  • Click Save As PDF or Copy Image for sharing and print out for invitation to the polling event.



Step 4: Set up polling questions by the host or speakers in the webinar

Step 5: Show the QR code to the attendee for scanning and poll

Physical event polling

When attendees scan the QR code on event materials shown by organizer or click the polling event link through the social media platform, they could do the online polling instantly without login to EventX account

Reminder:

1. Polling event by QR code or clicking the event activity link is applicable to mobile view only.

2. Attendees can answer each polling question once only if using the same browser, but the same attendee may answer again if he/she opens the link in other browsers with the same device.

Attendee User flow

Step 1: Invite attendees to scan the QR code from PPT/ poster, they will be directed to the landing page, click Poll/Q&A to join.

Step 2: Select the either Q&A or Polling to gert started.


 

Step 3: Select and submit your response, the response will be updated to the live session on the event site.
