Secondary Email Feature

Newly created events after Jan 15, 2024 will consist of the Secondary Email feature where organizers and attendees can input up to 5 secondary email addresses. The secondary email addresses that has been input will receive a carbon copy (cc) of all the emails from the event. 

On the portal

Registration Form

The secondary email feature will be toggled ON by default on the registration form. Organizers can choose to toggle OFF the feature if it is not required. 



Attendee Import

Remarks

  1. The secondary email field will not be included in the RSVP invitation template. This is because the RSVP attendees will need to go through the registration form where the secondary email feature is present. 

Importing Attendees As Invited Status

  1. Bulk Import 
    1. Organizers can input up to 5 secondary email addresses when bulk importing attendees as Invited status. For more information on how to bulk import attendees as invited status, please refer to this article.  



    2. To input multiple secondary email addresses, be sure to utilize the semi-colon ";" symbol.


Importing Attendees As Registered Status

  1. Bulk Import 
    1. Organizers can input up to 5 secondary email addresses when bulk importing the attendees by selecting the CSV UTF-8 File option. For more information on how to bulk import the attendees as registered status, please refer to this article. 



    2. To input multiple secondary email addresses, be sure to utilize the semi-colon ";" symbol.

       

  2. Add an Attendee 
    1. Organizers can add up to 5 secondary email addresses by clicking on Add Email




On the registration form

Attendees are able to add up to 5 secondary emails by clicking on Add Email.



Remarks 

  1. The secondary email addresses that are added cannot be used to login to the event. 
  2. The secondary email addresses will receive a carbon copy (cc) of all the emails from the event. This includes both automated and manual emails.
