Attendees can join a public event on EventX by account login. Attendees who use EventX for the first time to attend the event will need to sign up for an account.
Reminder: Attendees can only enter the event 15 minutes before the event starts.

There are two scenarios in attending a public event by account login.
Scenario 1: The event has not started yet
Click the "Join Now" button on the event landing page.
Attendees will be directed to the EventX account login page.
For an attendee who doesn't have a login account, click the "Sign Up Now" button on the login page.
After that, fill in the Name, Email and set up a password (Password must be at least 8 characters), then click "Sign Up".
For an attendee with an existing EventX account, fill in the login email and password, then click "Log In".
(i) Event without registration
After the attendee successfully sign up or log in to the EventX account, there will be a pop-up message saying "You have registered for the event" while the "Enter Event" Button will be greyed out. Attendees can only access the event site 15 minutes before the event start.
The attendee will immediately receive an event confirmation email with an action button that will link to the event landing page. While the attendee is required to log in to the EventX account before entering the event during the event live period.
(ii) Event requires ticketing or registration
After the attendee successfully signs up or logs in to the EventX account, the registration window will pop up.
After the attendee selects the ticketing or submits the registration, there will be a pop up message showing "You have registered for the event" while the "Enter Event" Button will be greyed out. Attendees can only access the event site 15 minutes before the event start.
The attendee will immediately receive an event confirmation email with the action button that will link to the event landing page while the attendee is required to log in to the EventX account before entering the event during the event live period. There will be a ticket summary in the email if attendees selected a ticket for event registration.
Scenario 2: During the event live period
Click the "Join Now" button on the event landing page.
By clicking the "Join Now" button, attendees will be directed to the EventX account login page.
For an attendee who doesn't have a login account, click the "Sign Up Now" button on the login page.
After that, fill in the Name, Email and set up a password (Password must be at least 8 characters), then click "Sign Up".
For an attendee with an existing EventX account, fill in the login email and password, then click "Log In".
(i) Event without registration
After the attendee successfully sign up or log in to the EventX account, it will load the event site directly.
The attendee will immediately receive an event confirmation email with the action button which will link to the event landing page, while the attendee is required to log in to EventX account before entering the event during the event live period.
(ii) Event requires ticketing or registration
After the attendee successfully signs up or logs in to EventX account, the registration window will pop up.
After submitting the registration, it will go to the event site directly.
The attendee will immediately receive an event confirmation email with the action button which will link to the event landing page while the attendee is required to log in to the EventX account before entering the event during the event live period. There will be a ticket summary in the email if attendees selected a ticket for event registration.
Reminder: After the attendee submits the event registration, they can log in to their EventX account via https://portal.eventx.io/
The registered event will appear under the "Attending" tab after logging in to the account.
The attendee can go to the event landing page by clicking the event on the list.
The attendee can click "Enter Event" on the landing page to join the event during the event live period.
