KPay Payment Gateway

Organizers can now choose to use KPay as a payment gateway on the portal page. 

Why we enabled KPay

We enabled KPay to provide organizers with a more localized and efficient payment option.
  1. More competitive gateway pricing for local payment methods (such as PayMe and FPS) compared to international payment gateways
  1. Simpler and more flexible payout requests through a self-service flow within the EventX portal

  1. Better aligned with local attendee payment preferences, helping improve checkout success

How to enable

  1. Go to Payment Methods > toggle on KPay.

Supported Payment Options

  2. Master credit card

  6. Google Pay

  9.  WeChat Pay CN Wallet

Purchaser view

  1. On the Payment page, click Pay Now.
     


  2. Purchaser will be redirected to a new page as below. Select the payment method and click Pay Now.



  3. Enter the required details and click Pay Now. 


Self-service Payout Request for KPay

Organizers can now self-request payouts for payments made by attendees via KPay directly through our portal.
  1. Go to the Payout Request module and fill in your bank details.
  2. Submit a New Request.
  3. After successful submission, the request status will appear as PENDING, indicating that your request has been submitted and is awaiting EventX Finance team to review.
  4. When the status changes to PROCESSING, it means your request is currently being handled by our Finance team.
  5. When the status changes to PAID, the refund has been successfully transferred to your bank account.

Remarks

  1. Only HKD is supported as the currency.
  2. Organizers can toggle on KPay even if Stripe has previously been used for the same event.
  3. Organizers can only select either KPay or Stripe as the payment gateway. We do not support selecting both at the same time.
