Redeem Free eSIM on EventX Webapp

Attendees can redeem a free eSIM on the EventX Webapp by entering a promo code. This will provide attendees with free data. 

Remarks 

  1. The eSIM is only available for China, Hong Kong and Macau regions. 
  2. The feature will be turned on by default for organizations created after 16th January 2025. For organizations created before 16th January 2025, the feature will be off by default. 

Steps to enable (for organizer)

  1. After logging into the EventX portal, click on Partner Cooperation. 
  2. Toggle ON Enable the eSim redeem button in webapp sidebar.

How to redeem (for attendees)

  1. Click on the Enter Event button in the confirmation or reminder emails. Note that the button might be named differently depending on the organizer. 



    1. If the event has started, the attendee will be directed into the event webapp directly. 

    2. If the event has not started but the organizer has allowed early entry, attendees will be directed to the landing page as below after clicking on the Enter Event button. To enter the webapp, click on Enter Event. 
  2. In the webapp, click on the Settings icon > click on Partner Offer: Get a Free eSIM.



  3. Attendees will be directed to a new page with steps on how to redeem the free eSIM.
