Adding New Custom Fields
- If an organizer would like to add a new custom field into the attendee list, it can be done by clicking on the Manage Fields button under the Attendee List. Please refer to this article for detailed steps on how to add a new custom field onto the Attendee List. To view a video recording on this, please refer to this video.
Attendee Filtering
The steps to perform attendee filtering are as below.
- In order to filter the attendees, click on the filter icon and there will be a popup.
- To add a certain criteria, click Add Condition.
- Select from the range of filters provided.
- Filters included:
- Status
- Approval Status
- Block
- Ticket Class
- Role
- Tags
- Attendance Type
- Registration Form
- Unsubscription
- First Name
- Last Name
- Name
- Email
- Job Title
- Organization
- City
- Country
- Custom fields created on both the registration form and attendee list
- Note:
- The filters are based on the AND logic.
- Once you have selected the appropriate filters, click on Apply Filter.
Attendance Status
Under the Attendance column, our system will automatically determine the attendance type of the attendee as described below.
- Physically Check-in - The attendee has been checked in via the check-in app.
- Virtually Attend - The attendee has entered the event webapp.
- Hybrid - The attendee has entered the event webapp and has been checked in physically via the check-in app.
- Pending Arrical - The attendee has not been checked in via the check-in app and has not entered the webapp.
Search & Sort Attendees
Searching An Attendee
- Click on the search bar > Type the attendee details such as the name or email > Click Enter on your keyboard to search
- Items that can be searched via the search bar includes:
- First name
- Last name
- Full name
- Email address (Invited email address not secondary email address)
- Job title
- Organization
- City
- Country
- To view the entire attendee list again, click on the filter icon, click Clear all and Apply Filter.
Sorting Attendees
- Click on the sort icon.
- Select the sorting method.
- The attendee list can be sorted by:
- Date & Time Created
- Name (based on alphabetical order)
- Registered Time
- Email
- Ascending or Descending order
Column Management On Attendee List
- Organizers can manage the columns that they would like to show on the attendee list. Firstly, click on the column icon.
- To exclude a column from the attendee list, simply toggle off the toggles highlighted in red. To reorder the column arrangement, use the icon highlighted in green to drag and drop.
- To reset the attendee list to display the default column settings, click Reset Columns.
Edit Attendee Details
The steps to edit the attendee details are as below. To view a recording on this, please refer to
this link.- Under the attendee list page, hover over the right side of the attendee row and click the edit icon.
- Update the attendee information and click Update.
Removing Attendees

Bulk Update
- Organizers can use the Bulk Update feature to update the existing attendee information by bulk. Please refer to this article to view the detailed steps on how to bulk update the attendee list. For a video recording on this feature, please refer to this video.
Exporting Attendee List Report
- In order to export either the attendee list report or check-in/out report, simply click on the Export button on the Attendee List. For detailed steps on how to perform the export, please refer to this article. For a video recording on this feature, please refer to this link.
- The records listed below will also be included in the Attendee List Report.
- check_in_method
- check_in_qr_data_string
- custom_check_in_token
- Sessions that the attendee has been checked-in to.
- Samples of the combined check-in/out records with the Attendee List Report.
- Sample for events without breakout sessions.
- Sample for events with breakout sessions.
- Note : Y and N represents Yes and No respectively.
Blocking Attendees
If the organizer would like to block an attendee that exisits within the attendee list, they can do so by following the steps below. Once an attendee is blocked, they will be unable to access the event site. Organizers can also block email addresses or domains by using the Blocklist feature as covered in
this article.
To view the video recording on this feature, please refer to this link.Note: Only attendees under Registered or Attended status can be blocked by the organizer.
- Select the attendee that will be blocked > Click on the block icon > Click Long Press To Block
- Once the attendee is been blocked successfully, there will be an icon to indicate the block.
- On the attendee view, there will be a message that informs the attendee that they have been blocked from entering the event.
- To unblock an attendee, simply select the blocked attendee, click on the unblock icon and click Long Press To Unblock.
Use Case : Assigning A New Custom Field To The Attendees & Including It On The Check-in App
Please follow the steps below.
- Create a new custom field on the attendee list by clicking on Manage Fields. Click Add New Field > Select field type > Input necessary details > Click Save.
- Click on Bulk Update > Follow the steps shown to download the attendee list > Update the newly created custom field by inputting the desired data into the corresponding column. The name of the new column will be similar to the custom field that was created. Once the information has been updated, upload the CSV file.
- The updated data will be reflected acccordingly on the attendee list once the upload is successful.
- To include the custom field onto the Check-in app, go to In-person Check-in > Custom Line. Drag and drop the created custom field into either Line 1 or Line 2.
- The custom field will now be shown under the attendee name on the Check-in App.
Once the attendee has been checked-in via QR Code scanning, the custom field will also be shown below the attendee name.
